One of our favourite things has been to start out very own community choir. Aptly named, ‘Big Happy Noise’ is made up of singers of all ages and abilities from across Clydebank and beyond. The choir had its first ever performance at the launch of Lentfest 2012 in Glasgow University Memorial Chapel. On 19th March 2012 more than 70 voices created a brilliant addition to the line-up for our 1000 Hearts event. Since then they’ve been gigging all over town. In a world where feel-good stuff can be a little hard to come by, this choir has really made us smile.
Big Happy Noise rehearses most Thursday evenings, 7.30-8.30pm in Our Holy Redeemer church hall, Glasgow Road, Clydebank. We start back on Thursday 25th January 2018 for our Spring term and new members of all ages (16+) and abilities are warmly welcomed. Drop us an email for more information or to find how you can join in: firstname.lastname@example.org
We have a special ‘TASTER EVENING’ on Thursday 1st February for anyone who would like to try out choir singing in a fun, informal way. Absolutely no experience necessary and no requirement to join. Thursday 1st February, Our Holy Redeemer Church Hall Clydebank, 7.30-8.30pm. Free. All welcome!
