FireCloud is proud to be a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) No SC047509.

FireCloud was established in 2007 by a handful of hopeful friends. Almost 10 years on our projects are designed by a small family style team and supported by a wide and gifted community of associates and friends.  These wonderful volunteers from all walks of life know how to make things happen.  Intercessors, singers, planners, crafters, dancers, musicians, photographers, advisors, designers, academics, IT enthusiasts, administrators, sound and light designers, stage managers…you name it, we’ve probably got someone who loves it!  We operate on a shoestring but with a swashbuckling attitude and a song in our hearts.  Our hope is to always have God at the centre of our work and for our mission, ideas, projects and relationships to begin from there.

What’s in the name?

By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light (Exodus 13:21).

FireCloud is inspired by this example from the Old Testament book of Exodus. It’s all about being on a journey to somewhere important but unknown, taking a risk, trusting the signs, and letting God lead the way.
